Senior relocation · For life’s next chapter

Your Legacy Suite

A new space. Still unmistakably you.

Moving into retirement living is about so much more than changing addresses. It means leaving behind rooms filled with memories, familiar routines, and a home that has quietly held a lifetime of living. When life suddenly feels different, being surrounded by the things that still feel familiar can matter more than ever.

Your Legacy Suite thoughtfully carries those pieces of a life forward, creating a beautiful, welcoming space where treasured belongings, personal history, comfort and function come together. So when the doors open for the first time, the surroundings may be new, but they already feel deeply personal. The next step in life’s journey doesn’t mean leaving what matters behind.

“She portrayed a sense of reliability, stability and integrity.”

The Legacy difference

A transition shouldn’t mean leaving your history behind. We carefully curate the pieces that hold your deepest memories, weave in essential safety, and handle every detail, so you can focus on being family.

Every logistical detail is handled from start to finish, so you can stop being a “move manager” and simply be family.

“It is the blending of the old and new that makes the transformation truly unique and meaningful. Various pieces that hold special meaning and history find new life.”
RG, Rural Retreat client of 23 years
“You had all the connections as the general for the trades. That was super helpful and all were great people to work with.”

How we work together

Eight clear steps, from our first chat to the moment your home feels right. You always know what to expect, and you are never locked into all eight. Some clients take the plan and run with it; others hand me the keys.

STEP 01

Let’s Chat

Before we talk about rooms, furniture or finishes, I want to understand what has brought you here. What’s working? What isn’t? What are you hoping will feel different? This first conversation gives us a chance to get to know one another, talk a little about your project, and see if working together feels like the right fit.

STEP 02

Seeing the Possibilities

We’ll walk through your home together and talk about how you really live: what you love, what isn’t working, and what matters enough to stay. There’s no need to make your home perfect for my arrival; understanding how you actually use your space helps us make choices that will genuinely work for you.

Step 2: Seeing the Possibilities

STEP 03

A Clear Plan Forward

Following our consultation, I’ll put together a detailed scope of work outlining what we’ve agreed to accomplish, the services involved, anticipated investment, along with any design or purchasing fees. Once everything feels right, your retainer, or what I often call your bank of hours, gets us underway.

STEP 04

Bringing It Together

This is where everything we’ve learned begins to take shape. From furnishings, finishes and colour to lighting, textiles and the pieces you already own, each choice is made with intention and brought together in a way that feels natural, personal, and right for the way you live.

Step 4: Bringing It Together

STEP 05

Seeing the Vision

You get to see your design as a whole. We’ll walk through the plan together so you can understand not only what I’m recommending, but why, and make sure the direction feels right before we move forward.

STEP 06

Making It Happen

Orders are placed, trades are coordinated, details are confirmed, and I keep an eye on the many moving parts. There will always be things that need adjusting along the way. My job is to solve problems as they arise so you don’t have to manage it all yourself.

STEP 07

The Big Reveal!

Furnishings are placed, artwork is hung, accessories find their home, and every last detail is thoughtfully layered in. Then you walk in and experience it all together for the first time. Your home, transformed, deeply personal and ready for the life you want to live in it.

STEP 08

Making Sure It’s Right

Once you’ve had a little time to live in your newly transformed space, I’ll check back in to take care of any final adjustments. A project isn’t finished simply because the photographs have been taken. It’s finished when your home feels right to you.

Kind words from clients

“Jane’s unique creative gifts and joyful enthusiasm for design make every collaboration an enjoyable and memorable experience.”
RG, Rural Retreat client of 23 years
“Jane worked with us as a member of our team, guiding but not controlling, helping us capture our vision but not transforming it into her own; supporting us in making a house our home.”
